We are delighted to announce that Josh Greening has decided to commit his future to the Brewers.

Greening finished the 2016/17 season as the club's second highest goal scorer with 13 as well as an impressive 10 assists.

"Re-signing for Tadcaster wasn't a straight forward decision as my hometown club showed lots of interest in me, however, it just felt right and I know I've made the right choice.

I love the club, the boys in the changing room, the supporters and the people behind the scenes, from Anna in the kitchen up to the owners.

This will be my fourth season at the club and I still feel I've got a lot to prove - especially after a difficult season both personally and collectively.

With some of the players we had last season I certainly think we underachieved for a variety of reasons. Also, I feel like we have signed some really good players and I'm looking forward to getting to know them.

Most importantly I'm looking forward to working for Mikey and Si who I know really well; I believe the way they want to play will bring out the best in me and suit me down to the ground.

Now I'm just excited to get back playing and enjoying my football again."

Manager Michael Morton describes securing the services of Greening as the "final piece of the jigsaw".

"Myself and Mikey are delighted Josh has resigned with the club" said assistant boss Simon Collins.

Josh played for us in our first spell at TAFC so we know what his quality and personality will bring to the squad."
