Former Leeds United player Andy Milne is looking forward to putting the Taddy shirt back on after an injury plagued season.
“I’m delighted to have signed for Taddy again for what will be my fourth year at the club” said Milne.
“I’m already looking forward to next year. I have played for Mikey and Sy in the past and enjoyed the environment that they created amongst the group.”
“I had a frustrating season last year with injury, so on a personal note I just can’t wait to get started again in July.”
New Manager Michael Morton is full of praise for the centre-half.
“We are really pleased to get Milney signed on. He’s a great lad on and off the pitch and he’s determined to work hard and be ready to get back at it in July.”
Powerful striker Tom Corner has also committed to the club. Corner was the outright marksman for the Brewers last season scoring seventeen goals and has made a great impact since joining the club at the back end of the 15/16 season.
“As soon as I spoke to Mikey and Sy it was a no brainer for me” said Corner.
Corner continued, “Their philosophy and the way they want to progress this club is something you don’t get at this level of football.”
“With the right squad and their input there’s no reason why this club can’t push on to where we all want to be.”
Assistant Manager Simon Collins felt it was key to secure the services of the front man.
“There’s always going to be interest in a player like Tom. He’s so effective when receiving the correct service and we are delighted to have him on board.”
