Other news agencies and SAFC have already released this information however we are delighted to announce the signing of Aiden Savory.

Savory was an integral part of the Farsley side that achieved promotion from the Evo-Stik First Division North last season so knows exactly what it takes to get out of this league.

The versatile player has featured for Ossett Town, Bradford Park Avenue, Harrogate Town as well as a stint in Australia.

"It's great to sign for Tadcaster" said Savory.

"It's a great club with a really good set-up with the ground, the fan base and the pitch.

After meeting with the management team they really sold the club to me.

Their ambitions match mine so I just can't wait to get started and be a part of the success."

Taddy boss Michael Morton believes that Savory's versatility is a great option to have.

"We have known about Aiden for years but only as a striker" said Morton.

"Last season we saw him play centre-back for Farsley and we knew that he would fit into our playing model.

He is strong, athletic and very comfortable in possession of the ball."

"His experience playing as a front man and as a centre half gives us great options to change our style of play."

Savory becomes the eighth new signing made by Morton and Collins after Jason Stokes, Sam Akeroyd, Danny Frost, Pete Davidson, Jake Ellam, Chris Howarth and Joel Dixon all put pen to paper with the Brewers.
