We are pleased to welcome Adam Baker back after the winger committed to the club.

Baker, who rejoined the Brewers for a second spell in October, was hit by injury at the start of 2018 which saw the pacy attacker ruled out for the rest of the season.

The former Bradford City professional netted one goal in the 17/18 season and it was a memorable one at that. With 94 minutes played in a dark and dreary Glossop North End, Baker prodded home from a corner which sparked jubilant scenes to earn Albion all three points.

“I’m delighted to be staying at Tadcaster for another season, it’s a great club from top to bottom” said Baker.

“It was really frustrating getting injured at the start of this year, I felt like I was gaining my feet after personally having a slow start to the season.”

“I was really happy with how we ended the season in the play-offs and it shows what a great side we are.”

“I am currently doing a lot of physio and cardio work getting back fit for pre-season. Fingers crossed I can join in straight away without any hesitation.”

“I cant wait for next season, I think it will be exciting for us and I’m expecting us to kick on from last season and push even more for that promotion spot.”

Manager Michael Morton said the following on the news: “It was a real shame that Bakes picked up a serious injury at home against South Shields but hopefully he will come back strong and be ready to go in pre-season.”

Welcome back, Bakes!
