With Deadline Day for all Evo-Stik League clubs Thursday 22nd March at 5pm, Taddy bosses Michael Morton and Simon Collins made their moves by bringing in two exciting youngsters.

Starting with Ellis Barkworth, who joined the Tigers at the age of nine before going on to sign his first professional contract in May 2016.

The central midfielder, who can also play right-back, made his debut for the club in the EFL Cup tie against Doncaster Rovers back in August of last year.

“I’m buzzing to get going and start playing a few games in a competitive league where points matter” said Barkworth.

“I’m a player that loves getting on the ball, playing football the right way, creating things from different positions on the pitch but I’m also hard working and fit.”

Moving on to the second signing, Will Annan, a Scottish International who is a forward-thinking midfielder/winger who also made his debut in the aforementioned EFL Cup tie at the start of this season.

“The fans can expect a creative player” said Annan.

“I like to contribute with goals and assists as much as possible, I always have in my time at Hull.”

“I’m going to work hard for the team to hopefully get us into the play-offs.”

We would like to issue Ellis and Will a warm welcome to the club and both could make their Tadcaster Albion debuts against league leaders Hyde United on Saturday (3pm).
