I am delighted to be re-joining Tadcaster
- Adam Baker

Baker re-joins the Brewers after spells at Brighouse Town and Hyde United.

Tadcaster boss Michael Morton expressed his satisfaction in bringing Baker back.

“It’s great to see Adam back in a Tadcaster Albion shirt” said Morton.

“His goal scoring ability married up with his great pace will bring something different to our forward line.”

The former Bradford City pro scored an outstanding nineteen goals from midfield in Albion’s NCEL title winning season on top of recording eleven assists.

“I am delighted to be re-joining Tadcaster” said Baker.

Baker will go down as a Tadcaster Albion legend after scoring that crucial goal against Armthorpe Welfare that sealed promotion into the Evo-Stik for the first time in the club’s history.

“I have a good history with the club and still have a lot of love for them.”

Baker scored some brilliant goals in his first stint including a long ranger to knock Shaw Lane out of the League Cup, a soaring strike to down Worksop, a succulent chip against Handsworth and a sublime touch of class against Thackley to name just a few.

“Tadcaster is going in the right direction and deserves every success” Baker continued.

“The club is run the right way from the board all the way to the supporters that travel the country to watch.”

“I am looking forward to playing again and hopefully helping the team reach the goals we want to achieve.”

“I have seen a few results go the other way but there is no reason why we can’t be up at the top come the end of the season.”

Baker is eligible to make his second Taddy debut against Ossett Albion in the Integro League Cup tomorrow.

Welcome back Bakes!
