Baker Calls Time On Second Spell

By Jay Taylor

We can today confirm that Adam Baker has decided to leave the club to seek first-team football.

The former Bradford City professional netted the famous goal that secured promotion into the Evo-Stik for the Brewers but since returning to the club last season, opportunities have been scarce.

The attacker's best moment in his second spell at the club came when he scored a last gasp winner at Glossop North End in a memorable away day.

Making just four starts across the course of last season and five appearances off the bench so far this year, Baker feels it is the right time to move on and seek regular first-team action.

We completely respect his decision and all at TAFC would like to wish Bakes the very best of luck wherever he chooses to go next.
